I was pretty sure I was not going to buy from CARR. I had wondered the lot a few times with no help, I had emailed interest and got response. I stopped and kicked some tires, wandered the lot and was ready to leave when I thought I would see if there was any inventory not listed, I had a specific truck in mind and thought I would see if the local dealer wanted to work with me. I had low hopes. I met James, he wasn't pushy and wanted to see what they could do for me. I wasn't able to stay and he was fine with me leaving. We communicated through text and email for a day, he was able to put together an agreeable deal and we finalized on the price. This is where the deals usually go south and a dealership tries to put the screws to customers. I made it clear I did not want any add-on, additional warranties, or upgraded mud flaps, but was still expecting it from the F&I guys. I submitted a credit app, was approved, went in and signed the paperwork, no one pressured me for anything outside of the deal we had agreed to. The next day my wife came in, it took all of 10 minutes for her to sign and we were done. As stated before, I had very low expectations that I would buy in Vancouver and very high expectations that there would be shady stuff going on. I am very happy to say I was wrong all the way around. James made the buying process easy and enjoyable, the F&I team was fast and smooth. All in all it was the best car buying experience I have ever had, and one of the best capital purchase experiences I have had. I will let people know they should buy from Carr Vancouver and recommended James.

The connection to the windshield wiper fluid was disconnected and as a result, all of the fluid leaked out near the left rear quarter panel onto my garage floor. While it was a simple fix and I had to purchase additional fluid to refill, this should have been a quality control check before we left. There was no leak prior to the oil change and when we woke up to a puddle in our garage, the low washer fluid light was also on.

I’m beyond frustrated with the service at Carr GMC. My truck has been in FOUR times for the same issue, and it’s still not fixed. Each visit has been a complete waste of my time and has caused nothing but inconvenience. The second time in, they decided to throw a bunch of parts at the problem, hoping that would fix the 4x4 issue. Spoiler: it didn’t. Since it was summer, I didn’t use the 4x4 until the recent ice storm, and sure enough, the same noise and vibration are still there. I know for a fact this isn’t normal behavior. I personally know people with the exact same truck, and theirs do not do this. But apparently that’s news to Carr GMC, because four trips to the service department later, I’m still dealing with it. The only time anyone seemed to take me seriously was when I drove with the shop foreman. He heard the issue immediately and admitted his own truck doesn’t do this. So why was that not the end of the guessing game? Why wasn’t that the moment we figured out a real solution? After all this, I’ve completely lost confidence in this dealership. I will never bring my vehicle back here again. I’m done wasting my time and money here.

We visited the dealership twice. The first trip we met with Stu. He was great and helped us decide on the vehicle we ended up buying. The second trip was the return visit where we actually bought the vehicle. Hugo was our sales person. He was untrained, scattered, and didn’t seem to know what to do. We were so put off that we contemplated leaving and coming back when Stu was working to let him close the deal. Never received a follow up thanks, or check in, didn’t even get his business card. The vehicle was dirty and hadn’t been detailed. Car buying has changed a lot since COVID. You would expect a bit more when buying an $80k vehicle. We had better service and experience last year at a Kia dealership.

Great customer service! I met Rich on the front door when I came out to look for the truck and he was very nice and helpful with everything! What I like the most he didn’t was pushing like the other dealers. What I didn't like was that no one at GMC told us that if we used a trailer hitch, the back door of the truck bed could get dented and scratched if l use the steps to get in the bed truck…😏 they have to tell people to know that! Military discounts vary, but generally they are 10% or more. I was taken aback when I had my GMC serviced by Vancouver Buick GMC to the tune of almost 8500 dollars, for which I received a military discount of just over 2% (200 dollars). If it is your intention to offer military discounts then offer a decent discount of at least 10% or stop offering the discount. And while you're at it, don't limit my ability to get discounts. I have over 30K points with you guys and was told I couldn't combine them with my military discount. Shameful.

I ordered parts to be installed on my car and also scheduled my first oil change. I was told to arrive early and they would install the accessories before the oil change. I arrived early only to find out the parts had not been ordered and that it was going to take longer for my oil change because a tech called in sick. I waited for over four hours and finally left with an oil change only. The service guy was not apologetic at all and it was one of the worst examples of customer service I have experienced. I have bought two cars from Carr and this was an awful experience.

We set up to program the fuel module in a 2010 Buick Enclave . The did not start so we authorized two hours of diagnostic on the car which resulted in a bad connection in a plug in which we repined. Then we were consulted on next step and authorized them to repin the plug but they took upon themselves to cut the plugs off and hard wire it together which is by passing the factory harness. I should have not been charged by a authorized dealership for repairs not to factory standards. When that was complete was not contacted for two weeks in which the car sat so didn't run still but I could have pick it up a lot sooner to make additional repairs myself.

The advisor was a very nice guy but I was overcharged on labor time. All Data shows 1.4 hours but was charged 2 hours. The reason given was because it entailed removing an assembly unit but that is already accounted for in the 1.4 All Data labor time. Will be getting further evidence to bring forward. Additionally, I was quoted over $250 less for the job to be completed.

Not so great. I called and gave them a list of electronic issues I was having. Since they thought this was a special need they gave me an apt several weeks away. That's ok. I get there and they tell me they're not sure they have some one who can do this. When the go to a fall back and reprogram the electronics my first complaint of the driver assist (which lit up as I pulled out of the showroom) was still not fixed. "We'll get it next time." Also asked them to leave my tires at the higher pressure of 40. When I pulled out of service I noticed it was lowered to 36.

This was my first experience with your dealership and my first experience with GM. I recently purchased a used 2024 Buick Envision. The online scheduling is problematic and frustrating. After several attempts was able to schedule an oil change with a request to look at our adaptive cruise control that is not working. Received a call that the system had overbooked appointments and we couldn’t keep our original appointment. Our appointment was rescheduled. The notes were not transferred over to look at our cruise control. Therefore, we had to book a second appointment to have it looked at then we were to have our tires rotated and we were not told at the time of checking out that they did not rotate our tires because they noted a screw is in the tire. Had I not read my receipt document I would not have known that. This was our first service there and overall not a good experience. I would like to note that TJ who checked us in was great.

We made an appointment with Rich Fisher for 1PM on Friday. We had done a lot of research on vehicles to pull our new trailer and the GMC Canyon was our top choice, so for us, we wanted to see and test drive it. When we got there Rich was helpful and informed. The one we had originally seen on line was no longer available, but Rich showed us a gray one. We drove it, Rich let us take it for three laps and we were sold. It was what we wanted and did everything we needed. We had a Honda Ridgeline for trade in. They gave us a good deal and when we showed them the CARMAX offer, they adjusted the offer. By 2:00PM we were ready to close the deal. Since the Ridgeline was paid for and we were paying cash, it was suppose to be a simple, quick process to buy the Canyon. There was another couple ahead of us to see the finance man, Thomas Petta. Rich told us it would be about 30 minutes. He also told us we could not leave because the vehicle would not be ours until we signed the paperwork. While we waited, Rich was helping us with the GMC information application on our phone(which we never got working). It was 6:00PM before we were able to get in to sign the papers and pay, which took about 20 minutes. We drove home to get the title and extra key and returned by 7:45PM. It took about 10 minutes to finish the paperwork. Rich then took us to the Canyon, which he had had gassed and cleaned. He gave us the keys and we got in the truck. He then told us he usually takes 30 minutes to explain the ins and outs of operating the truck, but since it was 7:00PM and we had been there for six hours, he just showed us how the headlights worked so we could get home in the dark. We were exhausted. Rich was great and Thomas was too. We felt very comfortable and confident about the information and guidance they gave us. We finally managed to get the owner's manual downloaded and are now learning about our new vehicle. My one big complaint was the six hours it took, not their fault, but it made spending so much money on buying our truck too much. Our thanks to Rich and Thomas for their professionalism and help.

My technician was on the phone for another customer and the other technicians said they could not help me, I had to wait until the phone call was done. that is the wrong answer. Third visit to solve multiple issues on a NEW 2025 Sierra Denali Ultimate. First time waited for half day to be told there will be a need to order parts. Second time left the vehicle for 4 days and the job did not get finished because waiting for parts, but I needed the vehicle. Third time all the parts were in and I was told all done. On the way home radio continued to go out intermittently, wifi would not connect and running board still making noise. One thing on the list done right! Driver assist working.

I had an appointment on Monday at 7:45 AM. When i arrived, I was told a mechanic was not at work, you may need to keep my truck overnight. I was called that afternoon and given the status - it would have to stay overnight. The next morning, I was called and told what was wrong and early in the afternoon I was told the truck was ready. We arrived promptly at 0900, and were greeted by T.J. Timmons (Quick Service Advisor,) and Stephen Poulsen (Assistant Service Manager.) To understand the magnitude of this fiasco, some background information is necessary. The vehicle in question is NEW, and recently purchased, 5 months prior, and at the same Dealership. It was the dealer demo model of a 2025 Buick Envision (Made in Yantai, China, by the way.) When I bought the vehicle, I was promised all but the "moon and the stars," nicely illustrated by a red, white & blue "BUMPER-to-BUMPER WARRANTY" logo, spread across the windshield. (Pictures attached on Yelp, for reference.) As the demo vehicle, it already had 5,000 miles on it, and we were assured by Matt (Finance Guy,) (i.e. "The Hammer," in the back room,) that our sale would be treated as a "new vehicle sale," and that the same warranty would apply, with the exception of regularly scheduled maintenance. We knew oil change time was approaching, so we tried to schedule an appointment on the Buick App, just to learn that we were unable to get an appointment until mid--January. Therefore, we visited a local, independent oil change facility, where we learned that we were sold a vehicle with [relatively] no oil, AND with visible signs of leakage below the oil pan. Again, please see Yelp for visual reference. That Saturday night we returned to the Dealership to complain. We were greeted by Cody Halsey (the Sales Manager with the dog) and reassured us that HE HIMSELF would contact Chuck Bryan (Service Manager) ASAP, and that we were to call him first thing Monday morning. After multiple attempts at trying to get someone to answer the phone, we drove over, met Stephen Poulsen, just to learn that nobody knew ANYTHING. However, he informed us that he did not have the time to properly examine the vehicle, and to come back the following Tuesday, for a proper oil change. In the meantime, however, he topped-off the vehicle with 2.5 Quarts of oil... on a NEW CAR! We returned as instructed, and that is where we arrive at our service appointment, on 11/18/2025. A proper oil change was performed, and we are given a spreadsheet log, on which to document "oil consumption.," after which, the data is compared to what GM publishes as "normal oil consumption." Again, pictures on Yelp. NOW, here is where it gets ridiculous. My fiance' is an aviation mechanic and precision machinist. My son is a GM dealer mechanic in the Greater-Phoenix-Area. It requires NEITHER of them to recognize the stupidity of the following statement made by T.J. Timmins (the Quick Service Advisor.) When questioned regarding "GM's acceptable rate of oil consumption," he replied with: "...with these new engines, tolerances are looser, allowing for more lubricant to get in between the moving parts, and therefore, differing quantities of oil can be consumed." Was he HIGH? THEN... after PAYING for that oil change, we PAID for an alignment, which should have been unnecessary. In order to justify that alignment by the way, Mr. Timmins issued the additional statement: "...and here in the Pacific Northwest, many roads are higher in the center for water runoff, and therefore, such situations have a tendency to throw-off vehicle alignment more quickly." Perhaps the message was not received by the Service Department. THIS IS A NEW CAR. IT WAS THE DEALER DEMO. BUMPER-TO-BUMPER WARRANTY. *** NEW CAR *** We are upset, and do not take kindly to being treated like idiots. LYING to us is NOT a valid form of customer service. You and your staff should truly be ashamed. As I write this, my vehicle is already down half a Quart!

As soon as I told Steve what symptoms were going on with my car, he immediately knew that I was having thermostat issues. One problem I have with the dealership is that not all clients have transportation to rely on other than the vehicle being worked on. I arrived at 8:45 am and my car was not evaluated and work completed until after 4 pm. I sat until noon when I finally found someone to come rescue me from the waiting room. The late hour leaving put me in a position of driving in pouring rain in the dark all the way home in back country roads. What I’m saying is that you should develop a loaner car operation. You have plenty of cars at your disposal and could use them for situations like mine when needed.

Dealership was clean and employees were friendly. Jonathan greeted me at the door and immediately took me to the car that I was scheduled to test drive. I appreciated his knowledge about the car and his friendliness. With previous cars that I have purchased (different dealership) the salesmen have been pushy or rushed. Jonathan was patient and happy to answer any questions that I had. I also really enjoyed working with the finance manager. He was really funny and very quick at what he does.

I've had my truck in 4 time for similar issues with the stability track system seems like an ongoing unresolved issue.
